Planning procedure

It has a focus on Capital Projects but is relevant to all projects from minor works (including listed building applications) two major projects managed by the Capital Projects team, which are likely to require involvement with the planning system.

Facilities and Building Managers must consult with either the Town Planning Manager and follow this procedure or commission the work through the Conservation and Buildings team, who will seek the necessary planning permissions as part of the work.

Unless otherwise advised, all projects, which have planning implications, must be taken forward in accordance with this Planning Procedure. 

Any departure from this Planning Procedure must be approved in writing in advance by the Director of Asset & Space Management.
