Based in a fully equipped workshop, our joiners create exquisite work for the University estate, departments and colleges.

We also work closely with the Capital Projects and Conservation teams in the restoration of some of Oxford’s most historic buildings.

Projects

Our projects include:

  • St Luke's Chapel – creation and installation of oak screen and complete restoration of bell yoke and wheel
  • New Bodleian – repairing 128 Gilbert Scott tables and chairs
  • The University Church of St Mary the Virgin – making and installing decorative screens and panels
  • Divinity School – repair and restoration of 500-year-old benches
  • New Bodleian – repairing 128 Gilbert Scott tables and chairs
  • Old Indian Institute – renovation of wood features
  • Museum of Natural History – construction of 5m2 tree planters and 40 swift nesting boxes
  • Chemistry Research Laboratory – new reception desk
